I’ve been apprehensive about green smoothies. Eating veggies raw? Yes. Crunching on anything fibrous? Sure! Mixing leafy greens with fruit, then blending them together?… Hmmmm…. Nope.
So, why this recipe is here? For now – long story short; eventually I will type it all out here.
TL;DR: This recipe is from the back of a frozen veg (fruit?) package. I happened to have all the ingredients at the time (miracle! it rarely happens), and decided to give it a go.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mango chunks (fresh or frozen)
- 1/2 cup mint leaves (fresh)
- 1 cup spinach (fresh)
- 1/2 bananas
- 1 tsp ginger (fresh)
- 1 cup almond milk
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender.
- Blend.
- Enjoy!
